Nutritive value is very low or negligible

Felines are an obligate carnivore, which means that their main source of energy comes from proteins and moderate amounts of fats. They also consume very little carbohydrates. Felines require very little carbohydrates. These confectionaries contain very little protein, which is why they are considered foods of low nutritional value by the US.
